Education "is on fire"!!
The first thing I do every morning is switch ON the IDIOT BOX ,though i hate watching TV , I still find myself addicted to it. Now I wont waste my time explaining you the pros and cons of TV. Anyways, I switched it ON and the thing which flashed under BREAKING NEWS was "one more suicide". People, who is responsible for it?? Mr. Aamir Khan has done a magnificient job in portraying the flaws in the EDUCATION SYSTEM. You may have noticed that i've written "Education" in the smaller font size!! there is a reason for it. I salute that great man Mr. Khan for showcasing the fact about real education with so much perfection and humour, we people have praised his efforts and then what?? we have started blaming education for "suicides"!! Day before yesterday i saw the promo of a new marathi movie named "शिक्षणआच्या आईचा घो!! ". Do you think education is to be blamed for everything?. Actually its not the education which is to be blamed but the manner in which it is imparted among the young masses. I don't understand the fact in blaming and abusing education in such a manner and with such harsh words. I had read a quote in childhood , don't know from where? but it stated that "we have to be educated because it is the only means to get all good things in life!!" Just think if you were not educated or either I can say "literate" would you be ever be able to read my blog? The answer is "certainly NO".The only fact I want to highlight is when will "The Dead Poets Society" understand what role does education play in our life and when will people stop blaming education and stop giving such harsh titles to the movies just to gain a bit of controversy?? Education is not wrong but making education a burden is wrong!! Overcrowded classes, underfunded schools - do you think education is enough of a priority in India? I think that's sufficient to explain you the title of this post . People , education is on fire please save it!!!

ReplyDeletehey abhi well done u have highlited this topic of education system and suicides.
ReplyDeletewell i dont completely agree wid what u said..
i think we should not just blame our education system for these suicides.actually the mentallity of students should be changed and this can be done by parents or through any such programmes imparting importace of education.
suppose out of 100 students 20% students score good marks,60% get average marks and 20% get poor marks.the later 20% students think that education system is poor because they cannot deal wid it.it is important to nourish the minds of these students.and as we know as the technology is increasing day by day it is essential to impart proper knowledge at proper time and if at smaller age this is not done it becomes hectic when u grow up(this is d difference between maharastra board students and cbse).
finally i would like to suggest one thing:
we know that at a small age our mind is fresh.(we remember those poems johny johny, twinkle twinkle till now).so i think instead of this small children should b given the integration n other formulae to mug up at this level.because then it will b easier to implement them.
i know this is funny but think upon this.
gud one keep wiriting more topics
